Gift wrapping – part 4

Here’s an idea how to make a box using just hard paper and scissors. You can make it in any size you want, just use harder paper for bigger boxes.

First draw this on a paper you chose:

Cut it out and make a cut on the tops of the box till the center points (as marked):

Fold up the sides like this:

Close the tops by slipping the cuts into each other:


You can leave and use the box like this:

Or curl up the tops like this after having placed the gift into the box:




If you choose to curl up the tops (to do that you can use a pencil or your finger) this is what you will have:


To make it even prettier you can decorate the sides with gluing on stickers / crystals / beads etc or as you wish.
